Overall, this is a great body of work! Sharp writing, good video, not over reliant on editing effects but editing is still tight. If I saw a demo tape like that, it would get an interview.
So then, when you came to work for me, here is what I would want to see improve:
News image ands sweeps promos: Need to have a signature close to the serious ones. These spots vould have been for any station in the market, just change the logo. add a :04 tag with a signature music sting and graphic that let viewer know which station it is without having to work too hard.
Comedy spots are tough. First weather one I like. I did a similar spot years ago. I would have followed up with another theme, NOT another date. Spot two should have had him in a different situation. Grocery store, auto mechanic, traffic stop, etc.
Snow day was too predictable.
Milkman spots made me chuckle. Brave and fun! I would air them.
You have a lot of spots to be proud of!
Also, the chop shop and suburban secrets spots had some great shots in them. Were those shot for the promo, or lifted from the story and news pre-pro?
